Dear Daughter..

    As Soon  as  you were born I kissed your chubby cheeks  ..
    My excitement  of you being a girl was at peaks .

When I held u for the first time  ,I was  expressionless ..
Tears started rolling down due to immense happiness ..

Rarely during the first two days you opened your eyes.
 Your had curly hair n tiny eyes

 Mornings you slept most of the time
Nights you gave me sleepless nights.

For you to play  bought soo many toys..
My life with your presence is filled with joy..”
 

 

     Tried writing this poem on my daughters initial days… Those initial days of motherhood #joyofmotherhood..
